Belarus' embassy branch to reopen in Russia's Krasnodar
The Krasnodar branch of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia will be reopened, Belarus' Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi said at a videoconference meeting on 10 August to discuss progress to implement the cooperation roadmap between Belarus and Krasnodar Krai, BelTA has learned. “The Russian government has approved plans to open a branch of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the city of Krasnodar.
We are now busy working on this matter,” said Dmitry Krutoi. He recalled that there was a branch of the Belarusian embassy in Krasnodar, but it was later relocated to the administrative center of the Southern Federal District, Rostov-on-Don, so this will not be opening, but rather reopening of the embassy branch. “This is a very good decision as it will promote our trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural contacts with the region,” the ambassador stressed.
