Windows 11 Enhances IPv6 Transition with New IPv4 Compatibility Feature

This feature allows devices operating on pure IPv6 environments to seamlessly communicate with services that still rely on the older IPv4 protocol. According to IT Home, Microsoft officially announced the release of the Customer-side Translator (CLAT) function for Windows 11 version 25H2 and subsequent updates via its official blog on October 27th.
This technology aims to resolve compatibility issues for applications that remain dependent on IPv4, even in networks where native IPv4 connectivity is no longer supported.
